  • New Year Resolution

    Hey all!
The year 2005 is about to end. A very eventful year its been for me...wherein I travelled out of India for the first time...had amazing experiences. I look at the world today with wisdom. Have become a bit more cynical too with what I've seen. So many breakups, so many breaches of trust going around..dont know how i live..still trusting people..but then, that's the way the world is, isnt it? My business prospered, suffered a big time loss, and slowly grew again. Like everything in life..creation falls apart some places and a new life is born some other places. Funny, this life of ours..

Well, for the coming year, i have made some resolutions.
    1: Learn to be selfish.
    2: Cut down on smoking.
3: Learn to keep faith in your relations. If you feel, something is not working out, give yourself some space and see if you can find a solution. If not, there's no point thinking about it.
4: Dont regret anything you do or say. Your instinct led you there and it cant be all that wrong if it is going to teach you something in the end..even if it means suffering and learning.
5: Dont let the anger in you take control. Join yoga classes and learn to keep your cool.

COOL RESOLUTIONS, nah? The ones I need the most to finally get my life in order again. Lets see how long i keep those resolutions...running..lol!
    HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL

  • AIESEC: An organisation which wants to make a difference.

The first time i heard of AIESEC, a student organisation, was eight years back, when i was studying french. I had heard of all the rave AIESEC parties and how you could have "fun" at these parties if you were adventurous enough. I was told, one has to be there to believe that these kind of parties can happen in Ahmedabad!! Ahmedabad otherwise is, truthfully speaking, really boring.:(

Three years back, i did go to one of these parties. Nothing out of ordinary. I thought, huh....they all just hype it up, just for some spicy gossip. But that got me interested in knowing more about the organisation which helps people go from one country to another, learn something new about a completely different culture, about people.

So i found out what AIESEC is all about, what it wants to do, to make a difference in this world where the hunger of knowledge is never sated. Here's what i found out then. Since then, I myself became a member and went on a traineeship to Tunisia, Africa. I must say, its made a big difference in my life, taught me a lot. SOOOOO...if u want to know more about this organisation, log on to:

    So long!

  • Prophecies and priests.

    Hi there!
I completely forgot my old blog password and user id so, am afraid, have to start anew. That should teach me to come here regularly!! :))

I was watching the Mothman Prophecies today as I had nothing better to do, after polishing off my Tandoori Chicken. That kind of triggered a thought in me. How many of us actually believe in these kind of prophecies???
Now, i know, in India, they go to these ladies who go for their regular hymn sessions called BHAJANS and there, while singing, they think, the goddess enters them and starts predicting things for people who come and ask for her blessings...in other words, touch her feet.

But then, a variation of it is seen all around the world wherein people believe in what Nostradamus predicted or just plain priests talking about prophecies...wherein they say...Lord will come to the earth again to relieve us of pain. Wonder how many of us really go to the church or temples these days??? So who is going to believe them>? And if they do, why???
    ANY ANSW#ERS???
