The first time i heard of AIESEC, a student organisation, was eight years back, when i was studying french. I had heard of all the rave AIESEC parties and how you could have "fun" at these parties if you were adventurous enough. I was told, one has to be there to believe that these kind of parties can happen in Ahmedabad!! Ahmedabad otherwise is, truthfully speaking, really boring.:(

Three years back, i did go to one of these parties. Nothing out of ordinary. I thought, huh....they all just hype it up, just for some spicy gossip. But that got me interested in knowing more about the organisation which helps people go from one country to another, learn something new about a completely different culture, about people.

So i found out what AIESEC is all about, what it wants to do, to make a difference in this world where the hunger of knowledge is never sated. Here's what i found out then. Since then, I myself became a member and went on a traineeship to Tunisia, Africa. I must say, its made a big difference in my life, taught me a lot.
